3. Bakelite powder will produce gas when cross-linking reaction occurs after being heated. Therefore, when designing the mold, the exhaust groove must be designed at the joint line or the end of the flow channel. The depth is usually 0.03-0.05MM and the width is 4-6MM.
4. Bakelite handle has high hardness and requires high mold temperature, so it is necessary to use wear-resistant mold steel, which usually requires steel with good steel strength, wear resistance and heat resistance, such as powder tool steel.
5. Bakelite powder contains various fillers, especially containing hard mineral fillers. Hard mineral fillers wear the mold wall like frosted. Under the high-speed erosion of the melt, the flow channels and cavity of the bakelite powder injection mold wear. Very serious, especially the gate, so the bakelite powder gate is usually used as an insert, so that it can be replaced at any time. Because of this factor, the life of the bakelite mold is set to 250,000 molds.
