The Main Components And Characteristics Of Bakelite Powder
2021-09-08

Have you understood the main components and characteristics of bakelite powder? This is more important in our lives! Relatively speaking, the effect is very good! This bakelite powder will be used in many product raw materials. What exactly will be used? To give you a brief introduction, I hope you can understand! After all, the use of bakelite powder is very good! It is used in many places.

1. T385J has the best injection molding, while T373J has good electrical performance, heat resistance and flame retardancy.

2. The maximum temperature of bakelite powder is 275℃.

3. The average shrinkage of bakelite is 0.8%, and the expansion coefficient after molding and curing is 0.14%.

4. Bakelite powder will not burn, only coking.

5. Composition: composed of phenolic resin, wood powder, hardener and additives. The additives include curing agent, plasticizer, colorant, lubricant, curing accelerator.

6. Phenolic resin: Resin obtained by polycondensation of phenolic compounds and aldehyde compounds (mainly the condensate of phenol and acetaldehyde) is called phenolic resin.

7. Bakelite: Phenolic resin has high mechanical strength, stable performance, hard wear resistance, heat resistance, flame resistance, resistance to most chemical reagents, low moisture absorption, and excellent electrical insulation performance. It is an ideal insulating material, commonly known as bakelite.

8. Bakelite is plasticized at 70~90℃, the viscosity is the lowest at 90~120, and the fluidity is the best. It suddenly hardens at about 160, forming an infusible and insoluble solid, which becomes a hardening reaction.
